Can an open sharing of individuals' recovery stories lead directly to a stronger treatment and prevention response to the opioid crisis? State officials in Pennsylvania are betting yes, which is why they have embarked on what is being called the country's first state‐driven behavioral change campaign designed to reduce stigma around addiction and its treatment.
