Three prominent organizations have partnered on an initiative designed to give consumers more insight into the addiction treatment modality that could be most appropriate for them, before they make what could be a costly choice of a care provider. Leaders of the initiative indicate that the consumer tool could help balance the scales in a consumer search process that too often leads individuals to the highest‐intensity level of care.
