A federal court ruling against the level‐of‐care and coverage guidelines of managed behavioral health insurance giant United Behavioral Health (UBH) earned plaudits in the substance use treatment community earlier this year, but it remains too soon to determine how the action ultimately might fuel other potential legal challenges and affect managed care's own practices.
