CARF is launching two new programs: (1) an addition to its accreditation programs, this time for office‐based opioid treatment programs (OBOTs), and (2) a certification program in which CARF is partnering with the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) to certify residential treatment programs; programs eligible for the certification will be at specific levels of care in the ASAM criteria.
