Higher‐potency cannabis increases the risk for the onset of the first cannabis use disorder (CUD) symptom, researchers have found. Therefore, guidelines for potency are critical for reducing negative health outcomes, they concluded, in their study published in the December issue of Drug and Alcohol Dependence .
