The topic with arguably the most sizzle in the harm reduction arena for 2019 is whether this will be the year that the country's first safe consumption space is sited and goes into operation. Ultimately, however, success in the new year likely will get measured more by the extent to which a variety of harm reduction approaches become fully integrated into broad‐based responses to both the existing opioid and emerging stimulant crises.
