The Duke of York Headquarters in Chelsea, London, has undergone a major rehabilitation. For many years its fine Georgian facade had belied a run‐down and messed‐about interior, inhabited by the offices of the Ministry of Defence. David Littlefield describes how, under the stewardship of the Cadogan Estate and Paul Davis + Partners, this historic structure is now reasserting its dignity, while also accommodating a series of bespoke gallery spaces.
