Sometimes certain architectural education studios shine out, beacon‐like. Riet Eeckhout ’s studio at the Faculty of Architecture at KU Leuven, Belgium is one such. The students relish the freedom to variously explore the potential of relational architectural space and its representation. This freedom results in them devising their own working methods, and raises questions over many of the standard modes of architectural operation.
