The sheer quantity of data about how people interact – spatially and digitally – and travel through cities requires a range of computerised geospatial visualisation tools. Shan He is a coder, designer, architect and data artist. She is also founder of Uber's data visualisation team and inventor of Uber's kepler.gl software. Here she draws our attention to the varying ways such data can be presented to facilitate quick and easy human understanding.
