Interactive platforms are opening up the possibility of an aural approach to spatial design. Raffaele Pe , a lecturer in the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies at the Politecnico di Milano, here examines the advantages of a locative media approach to architecture, urban and landscape design, with specific reference to the urban‐rural Milanese suburb of Segrate, the focus of an investigative project led with his department.
