In the last few years, the introduction of new digital software has enabled the exuberant articulation of ornate surfaces and volumes. Marjan Colletti looks beyond technical innovation and observes a two‐fold conceptual tendency that he labels the ‘ornaMental’ and the ‘pOrnamentation’, differentiating between the first's inclination to create form through abstraction and the latter's potential for the figural through sensation.
