This paper deals with an adaptive control application involving a skid‐to‐turn (STT) missile. More specifically, the generalized predictive adaptive control approach is used to accommodate the yaw channel control problem. The time domain behaviour and stability margins are shown to demonstrate the adaptive control performances vis‐a‐vis those of the underlying fixed parameter control.
