In this paper a demonstration expert system for interaction analysis of time‐invariant, linear, multivariable systems has been developed. The principle is to choose an area that is significant in control design but still limited to be implementable. To our knowledge no such systems have been reported in the literature. The paper first briefly describes the general idea of the developed expert system. Next the software structure of the expert system is given. A short description of the interaction analysis and conclusions finish the paper.
