We report here that CBX3 (Chromobox 3) may be an independent prognostic biomarker in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). High expression levels of CBX3 are implicated in the cell cycle and p53 pathway, as well as tumor proliferation in LUAD. Copy number alterations are correlated with aberrant CBX3 expression in LUAD .
