In the 5 March 2013 issue of Eos , the Forum, “Consider nominating a woman for an AGU award” ( Eos , 94 (10), 99, doi:10.1002/2013EO100003), incorrectly stated that of the three female AGU medalists in 2012, two became new Fellows at that time. This was based on incorrect information in AGU's records. In fact, one of the three female 2012 medalists became a new Fellow at that time; the other two had been elected Fellows earlier.
