Cover illustration ‘Expanding the utrophin universe’ by Kelly Perkins. Utrophin, the autosomal paralogue of dystrophin, is an appealing therapeutic target for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). This cover shows, by dual‐labeled confocal microscopy, localization of a novel utrophin isoform in dystrophin‐deficient skeletal muscle. The galaxy‐like quality of the image represents new discoveries and expanding possibilities.
