Systems of equations describing an inelastic response of metals, with the fundamental assumption of small deformations, consist of linear partial differential equations coupled with nonlinear differential inclusions (or ordinary differential equations) for the vector of internal variables. We study here the quasistatic case, this means that in the balance of momentum the acceleration term is neglected.
