The use of reaction calorimetry in a “one‐pot” catalyst screening protocol provides a rapid route to a scale‐transparent picture of catalyst activity when the target reaction is known, the field of catalyst candidates is finite and focused, and the results must be translated efficiently to larger scale reactions. The method is demonstrated for both homogeneous and heterogeneous multi‐phase catalytic reactions of interest in the pharmaceutical industry.
