The Systemic and Articular Indexes of Lansbury were utilized in a study of the effects of amodiaquin on 29 patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Significant beneficial effects were demonstrated when the drug was administered over a period of several months. Toxic effects of this agent are emphasized.
