Calandering, injection moulding and extrusion are the common processes for thermoplastic polymers. The modification of industrial polymers by reactive extrusion is an excellent way to produce thermoplastic polymers with special capabilities. Heterocyclic structures can also be introduced using this method. They can then be used as a basis for various further modifications and treatments.
