The homogeneously catalyzed telomerization of 1,3‐butadiene and carbon dioxide to produce lactones has been known since the middle of the 1970s. In the 1980s there was intensive research on this reaction. Due to lack of catalyst recycling, which is indispensable for economic and ecologic reasons in this palladium catalyzed reaction, this reaction is still not realized today. The authors present a continuous miliplant used to prepare δ‐lactones.
