By means of physicomathematical modeling it was possible to calculate the flow processes and the separation behavior in a gap of a disk stack centrifuge with caulks. Experiments were carried out to validate the separation efficiency in the range of laminar flow. The experimental results were found to be in good agreement with the calculated data.
