During recent years, measurement and control technology in sewage treatment plants has been continuously upgraded and changed over. This paper presents a dynamic model for a description of phosphate decomposition in sewage treatment plants with simultaneous precipitation verified by measurement. The model tries to describe the complexity of simultaneous precipitation in order to further optimize the process and to finally reduce the operating costs of sewage treatment plants.
