An amperometric Pt/Nafion hydrogen sensor was prepared by the T‐T method and further modified with polypyrrole (PPy) coated by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) to improve its anti‐aging ability. It was found that the lifetime was prolonged from 10 to 16 days. The accompanying loss in sensitivity could be avoided using shorter deposition time and higher oxidant concentration in PPy deposition.
