The importance of the surface coverage in the behavior of chemically modified electrodes and its effect on different electrochemical parameters such as the peak potential separation Δ E p , the potential of full width at half peak height E fwhm and the apparent electrochemical rate constant k °, is discussed. The influence of the morphology of the surface of the electrode on the value of surface coverage is also demonstrated.
