The preparation procedure and the use of plastic‐tip capillaries for polarographic, electrocapillary and voltammetric measurements in HF solutions, as representatives of glass corroding media, is described. The concentration of HF varied between 0.2 mol L –1 and 20 mol L –1 . Good functioning of capillaries was documented by DC polarograms of Pb 2+ , Zn 2+ and Tl + , voltammograms of Tl + and the drop‐time–potential measurements. Two diameters (0.23 and 0.13 mm) of the capillary orifice were used.
