I review the current understanding of the non‐trivial dynamics of = 4 SYM 4 . I discuss the four‐point functions of the lowest dimension CPOs and the information extracted from them using the Operator Product Expansion. I also briefly present a recently obtained new non‐renormalization theorem for the four‐point function of the stress‐tensor multiplet.
