The behavior of a non‐Markovian Ising model with local Glauber dynamics is studied in the case that the spin‐flip rates are kinetically constrained by the orientation of the neighboring spins. For such a spin facilitated Ising system, which is appropriate to model glassy material, the time delay between the local flip processes and the reordering of the environment leads to a periodical change of the averaged spin moment instead of an exponential decay as in the paramagnetical case. The result is based on a master equation approach in a quantum formulation.
