The kinetics of lithium cluster growth in germanium is studied. A theory that generalizes the Ham theory and allows the description of the growth of a fractal cluster is proposed. Lithium clusters in germanium are shown to be characterized by a fractal geometry, and their fractal dimension equals 2.4.
