The effect of temperature on microcavity polariton stimulation threshold is presented along with measurement of the occupation number, in wave vector space, for the lower polariton dispersion curve. The polariton state population is deduced from angle‐resolved photoluminescence. Those measurements are performed on CdTe‐based microcavity samples containing 16 and 24 quantum wells in order to maintain the strong exciton photon coupling regime under high excitation and high temperature conditions in spite of bare exciton state broadening.
