Two‐dimensional excitons with spatially‐separated carriers in coupled quantum wells (CQW) and also coupled quantum dots (CQD) in external magnetic field are considered. Energy spectrum dependences on the controlling parameters of the problem (interwell or interdot separation d , magnetic field H and confining potential steepness) were obtained both analytically and numerically. The possibility of ionization of two‐dimensional spatially‐separated excitons moving in transverse magnetic field is discussed.
