Photon, exciton, and phonon states, resonantly interacting in a direct‐band‐gap semiconductor in the presence of a coherent pump light, can be approximated by transient three‐component eigenstates, the phonoritons. Our recent experiments by stimulated two‐photon emission (STPE) spectroscopy demonstrate the existence of acoustical phonoritons in Cu 2 O. In this contribution we study the dynamical properties of LA‐phonoritons.
