The magnetic behavior of the Zn 1– x Mn x In 2 Te 4 compounds with 0.1 ≤ x ≤ 0.9 has been studied in the temperature range 1.8 to 300 K by means of electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). We have found that the peak to peak linewidth decreases when the Mn concentration increases and when the temperature increases. The signal has a Lorentzian shape in the high temperature region and is slightly asymmetrically broadened when the temperature goes down to 10 K except for x = 0.1. The observed magnetic behavior is intimately related with the exchange between magnetic ions. The magnetic properties were studied by an ac susceptometer for the low temperature range (1.8 to 80 K).
