Describing a two‐component scenario of HTSC, basic superconductivity properties caused by interband pair scattering for a system with a narrow band interpenetrating the wide one are calculated. The behaviour of T c , gaps and the isotope exponent are illustrated versus the chemical potential. The high‐ T c region corresponds to the chemical potential intersecting both bands.
