A theory of thermomagnetic phenomena in randomly inhomogeneous media using the effective‐medium theory is developed. An approximation quadratic in magnetic field is used. Calculations are carried out for systems which consist of random high‐ and low‐conducting components. We found the dependencies of the antisymmetric components and changes, caused by the magnetic field, of the symmetric components of the effective thermopower tensor on the high‐conducting part of the system volume.
