The mixing of conducting polyaniline (PADB) with undoped poly(3‐ n‐ dodecyl thiophene) (PDDT) retains the layered structure but that of PDDT is destroyed. PDDT behaves like a plasticizer and the side‐chain intercalation of PDDT is destroyed after blending. The undoped PDDT can be doped by the intermolecular doping and the intermolecular orbital overlap also occurs. The measurement conductivity of the blend shows intermolecular doping is only slightly influenced by temperature.
