A water‐soluble polysiloxane‐ block ‐polyferrocene diblock copolymer has been synthesized using sequential anionic and transition metal‐catalyzed ring‐opening polymerization. This material represents the first example of a diblock copolymer soluble in aqueous media with a hydrophilic organometallic polyelectrolyte block.
