Advances in the contemporary physics have led to the discovery of new elementary mechanisms that determine on the molecular level the progression of many physical processes in crystals and other ordered molecular structures. Early theoretical investigations of nonlinear dynamics of molecular chains 1‐4) considered one‐dimensional (spatially linear) models with the sign‐positive anharmonism, which only took into account the longitudinal displacements of atoms (molecules) in the chain.
