The wide range of nuclearity, geometry, and protonation levels possible with the hybrid Schiff base/calixarene ligand H 6 L3 are illustrated in the formation and characterization of three different copper( II ) complexes. The X‐ray structures show the complexes to have clearly defined clefts where exogenous ligands are bound.
