Stabilization of the presumed AlO double bond in LAlO⋅B(C 6 F 5 ) 3 , the simplest member of the alumoxane series, was achieved by the strong Lewis acid B(C 6 F 5 ) 3 . LAlO⋅B(C 6 F 5 ) 3 was synthesized by hydrolysis of LAlMe 2 with H 2 O⋅B(C 6 F 5 ) 3 and characterized by X‐ray structure analysis (see picture) L=Et 2 NCH 2 CH 2 NC(Me)CHC(Me)NCH 2 CH 2 NEt 2 .
