The concentration of metal ions influences the structural characteristics of self‐assembled coordination polymers constructed from Mn 2+ ions and [( η 4 ‐benzoquinone)Mn(CO) 3 ] − ions. At very low metal‐ion concentrations, 1D “string” formations are obtained (see picture), while at higher concentrations, 2D “grid” networks are formed.
