Two tandem catalysis approaches : first, a cofactor regeneration procedure with an NAD + model and [Cp*Rh(bpy)H] + , which was formed in situ, provided the 1,4‐NADH analogue 1 . Cofactor 1 was then used with horse liver alcohol dehydrogenase (HLADH) for the conversion of prochiral ketones into chiral alcohols (e.g. 2 → 3 ).
