The use of a Me 2 Si‐bridged amido‐cyclopentadienyl ligand containing pendant pyridine functionality allows clean “yttrate metathesis” to occur and the synthesis of the unusual C 2 ‐symmetric Y/Cu bimetallic compound 1 .
