A new way of forming P−C bonds : Catalytic amounts of F − ions facilitate the reaction of P III −F compounds with CF 3 SiMe 3 to give P III −CF 3 compounds (see scheme). These compounds can also be obtained in a one‐pot procedure from P III −OAr precursors (also shown).
