Multiple metallacarborane units bound to a central benzene ring are possible with the boron‐recapping method. In the FeCo 3 complex 1 , as well as its precursor, the benzene ring is used as a linchpin connecting the metallaboron units. These complexes are candidates for the generation of electron‐delocalized polynuclear mixed‐valence systems through redox processes.
