Enhanced fluorescence as well as more sensitive fluorescence responses towards chiral quenchers are observed for dendrimer 1 (R= t Bu) than its chiral core binaphthol unit. The fluorescence of the chiral dendrimer 1 is quenched efficiently and enantioselectively by chiral amino alcohols such as 2 .
