A rather unusual intermediate between a bent 2‐phosphaallyl cation and a linear 2‐phosphonio‐allene is the structure of the cation [P(=NH) 2 ] + according to ab initio calculations. The cation was obtained as the donor‐stabilized salt 3 by reaction of 1 with two equivalents of the base p ‐dimethylaminopyridine (Do). Mes*=2,4,6‐ t Bu 3 C 6 H 2 .
