Abstract The cover picture shows the functionalization of magnetite particles with redox‐active groups such as ferrocene, bipyridinium salts, pyrroloquinoline quinone, naphthoquinone, and microperoxidase‐11 (MP‐11). The functional particles are used for the magnetic control of electrocatalytic transformations, such as the catalyzed oxidation of NADH and the electrocatalyzed reduction of O 2 and H 2 O 2 . Similarly, the ferrocene‐ and bipyridinium‐functionalized magnetite particles are used for the magneto‐switchable activation and deactivation of the bioelectrocatalyzed oxidation of glucose and the reduction of nitrite in the presence of glucose oxidase (GOx) and nitrate reductase (NR), respectively. The PQQ–NAD + ‐functionalized magnetic particles are used for the magneto‐switchable activation of lactate dehydrogenase. For further details see the article by I. Willner et al. on p. 4138 ff.
