[(C 7 H 13 N 2 ) 2 Al]BPh 4 – a Spirocyclic Vinamidine Complex of Aluminum (C 7 H 13 N 2 )AlH 2 ( 3 ) reacts with the vinamidinium salts C 7 H 14 N 2  · HX [ 4 , X = BPh 4 ( a ), Cl ( b )] to give the spirocyclic vinamidine aluminum complexes [(C 7 H 13 N 2 ) 2 Al]BPh 4 ( 5 a ) and (C 7 H 13 N 2 ) 2 AlCl ( 5 b ); the crystal structure of 5 a is reported.
