Pt[In–C(SiMe 3 ) 3 ] 4 – a Pt(CO) 4 Analogous Compound with a Platinum Atom Tetrahedrally coordinated by Four InR Ligands The reaction of the tetrahedral alkylindium(I) compound In 4 [C(SiMe 3 ) 3 ] 4 ( 1 ) with bis(cyclooctadiene)platinum(0) afforded the compound Pt[InC(SiMe 3 ) 3 ] 4 ( 2 ), which is an analogue of the thermally unstable carbonyl complex Pt(CO) 4 and possesses a platinum atom tetrahedrally coordinated by four InR ligands.
